| After being very mild for the first 7 weeks of winter, all of a sudden we are shocked into consciousness. Here at the beach we have experienced 110km hr winds which caused a blowout in my hothouse. Hail accumulated on the deck and in the garden. |

| And after the wind blew the clouds away we got to see Kunyani, complete with snow. No wonder the people of Hobart call the mountain "the big refrigerator". |
