Beetroot Out, More Veg In.

The beetroot grew extremely well and I needed to harvest it to make space in the garden for my spring crops. I picked about 5 kgs and pickled some of it and the rest, I cooked and sliced and froze ready to be pickled later. I proceeded to plant out more cabbage, caulis, broccoli, potatoes, celery, spring onions, leeks, chives and peas as well as lettuce. I have taken cutting of sweet potato for this seasons plantings. The ones still under the ground will stay there till these cutting are due to go back in. I'm not holding my breath on what I might find under the ground as I feel they really didn't get a whole season as I got them in a bit late. Never mind, I will continue to try until I succeed.
